   Koselig Acupuncture

What is "koselig" (pronounced koosh-lee or kosh-leg)? It is a Norwegian word that does not translate to English, but the closest is the word cozy. It is a feeling consisting of coziness, happiness, and being content. Hopefully it is the way you will feel after your time here.

Erika Becker has her Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado since 2019. She began her acupuncture education in Minnesota at Northwestern Health Sciences University, and graduated from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, Colorado. Her education consists of 3,030 classroom hours, 645 Acupuncture clinical hours, and 180 Chinese Herbal clinical hours. Erika has obtained Diplomate credentials by meeting national requirements set by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture. Erika has also completed her certification in Functional Medicine in 2020 through Functional Medicine University.

Erika has a long history of patient care and enjoys helping patients move towards wellness and feeling better and likes to explore the emotional reasons the body experiences pain. She works with her patients’ goals in mind to bring individualized care with specialized treatments. She modifies treatment plans as conditions change and improve for patients, working towards balancing the underlying pattern. She does what she can to anticipate the challenges that may lie ahead for each person while maintaining a healing space, respecting each client’s path to wellness, and allowing them to be heard. Erika is able to provide a wide range of care for her patients; current services offered include acupuncture, cosmetic facial and micro-needling treatments, Chinese herbal medicine, fire cupping, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), Functional Medicine, and other modalities of care. She strives to provide a calming environment in which to relax and heal, and encourages patients to be active in their care, and also recognizes and facilitates the need for integrative health plans that include modalities such as chiropractic, massage therapy, and nutrition counseling.

Erika loves living in sunny Colorado and likes to have time in the mountains recharging whenever she can get away. She also spends her free time in the sun reading, enjoys painting, and practicing yoga.
